A HISTORY OF 35 YEARS
Born in 1984, CODIMETAL began to operate only in the commercial area, but quickly turned into an industrial company with the transformation of steel and metals, starting the industrial activity with the manufacturing of welded mesh, with a production line that began fabrication in 1987.
In order to diversify its range of products, Codimetal has known continuous investment in equipment more advanced technologically, flexible and with greater capacity and speed of production. With several production lines of cold rolling machines, production of welded fabric, production of lattice girders and production of stirrups, Codimetal currently has a wide range of products, in terms of diameters, dimensions, geometries and types of steel.
Over time, the company has specialized and acquired know-how that, together with the installed productive flexibility, offers its customers not only the standard solutions, but also optimized solutions according to the needs, being one of the main manufacturers of this type of products in Iberia.
Codimetal currently has 70 employees, of which 50 are directly linked to production.
The entrance of Codimetal into the OSCACER Group fills one more space in an increasingly strong and complete group in the area of steel products.
INFRA-STRUCTURES
Codimetal Industries S.A. has a total area of implantation of 50.000 m2, of which 20.000m2 are industrial building and 1.800 m2 are social area.
LOCATION
Located in Lugar das Formas, Estrada da Barra Cheia, in Municipal district of Palmela, Codimetal Industries S.A. currently assures 90 jobs, directly and indirectly.
