Steel Bar
The calibrated wire, grade A500ER ribbed surface and grade A500EL smooth surface are produced through a wire drawing process or by a cold rolling process and commercialized as coil or bar. It has very good weldability and good adherence to concrete in the case of the ribbed surface.
The steel bar, besides being an intermediate for other products in Codimetal Industries SA such as welded mesh, stirrups, straps
and lattice girders have numerous applications in other prefabricated structures such as:
- Precast concrete reinforced pipes
- Beams
- Cross Beam
